Wie installiere ich dieses PlugIn auf einer VU+ Solo 4k mit einem Blackhole Image? Wäre gut wen man mir eine Anleitung dazu senden könnte oder eine IPK Installation Datei!
How do I install this plug-in on a VU + Solo 4k with a blackhole image? Would be good if someone could send me a manual or an IPK installation file!
Hi Andy
Quick question on audio when playing a sat channel through Plex. I’ve noticed on a lot of programs that it has the incorrect audio channel, ie is is playinv the narrative audio for the blind.
When I record a sat channel I can change the audio channel afterwards but not on the live feed. Any thoughts?
it’s a known PMS issue, I reported it months and months ago, basically pms is swapping the audio tags NAR with ENG, so plex clients see’s the NAR track as English, and ENG as Audio Descriptive, this why it plays the NAR track, and plex does not support choosing audio tracks for LiveTV only recordings.
Anyone got this working on Black hole image?
Hello
I’m running Beyonwiz T2 DVR with plugin so Plex can use the tuners. All works fine but I noticed on the tennis today when viewing on my iPad Pro that the picture is too big for the screen and it’s cutting off what should be visible including the player names and scores. All other content delivered off my Nvidea Shield PMS displays fine. I see no setting in plugin to adjust screen size etc…
Am I doing something wrong or is this a know on issue?
Thanks in advance.

sound like the iPad is in Fill screen mode, because the iPad is not a 16:9 screen, you can zoom in to full the screen, this cuts off the edges, try double tapping in the live picture to zoom backout.
Ah that looks like what I’ve done. Thanks for pointing that out.
Hello Andy,
great work so far.
I have been able to set up my Vu+ Solo2 (2 Tuners) to wath and record successfully.
But to watch or record from the DVB-S tuner, I have to switch the receiver into stand-by.
As I understand this should be only necessary, if there is only a single tuner.
I have tried to reinstall the plugin, readd the DVR from PLEX and reinstall OpenVix.
To be sure that the tuners are configured correctly, I have also tried to record locally on the receiver, which worked without problems.
When tailing the main log of PLEX, I have found this:

do you have 2 DVB-S tuners or one of each type ? T and S ?
hmm, should work, can you post a log of enigma2 and plex ?
I have attached the PLEX logs.
These include the whole adding process, several failed attempts to play while the DVR is running and lastly a successful recording during stand-by.
I could not find any logs for the plugin and the root log seems only to log the boot process.
Do you mean any specific file?
If you need a special constellation I will create the necessary log files.
@andy
I have tried it today and suddenly it started to work. No idea why, but thanks for your help.
I got a very specific problem:
In my Dreambox I gotta use a CI+ module to decode the major private TV stations (cable in Germany), The module is only capable of decoding one channel at a time. So if I am watching one of those decoded stations, any recording that Plex tries to make on another station, which needs decoding, leads to a tuning failed error.
Is there any way to prevent this from happening? If I do recordings via the Dreambox directly, I can let it switch priority to the recorded channel, which is favourable. Any help is appreciated because I would like to switch to Plex to do my recordings but this would be a deal breaker…

let me see if I understand you correctly, so you want plex to have priority over an e2 tuned channel ?, but only if it is a CI+ encoded channel ?

In principle: yes, especially the recordings. The issue is probably that CI+ handling is done by a specific extension in e2 (autopin), which also handles the priority for recordings inside the enigma system (if you wish so). It is not a question of tuners (I have three), but a questions of which tuner is allowed to use the CI+ module.
A simple approach could be to cut the signal for the e2 tuner for some seconds when a recording starts. Plex would than automatically take the priority over the module (first come first served) I guess. If it is not an encrypted channel, things will continue as before after cutting the signal. If it is an encrypted channel that Plex wants to record, I would need to switch to the respective non-encrypted counterpart. Which is exactly how it works inside e2 with autopin, at least from a user point of view
If implementing this is possible, I could test any solution you might find for the problem and help anywhere I can
then may I suggest, contacting the author of the plugin autopin, and them to add steaming to the priority list ? This might be the easiest solution.

She is a tough cookie, but I might try my best.
Edit: That option might already exist, but I am not sure if this true for openATV, which I have to use for HRTunerProxy. They use a somewhat modifed version of autopin if I am correct. I will test that later this evening and come back to you. Otherwise this might be a job for the openATV guys.
It seems as if there is no possibility to prioritize streams over live TV in openatv… Unfortunately this a deal breaker for me, so I will have to live without Plex DVR.
