There is IMHO no more data available on the web interface, at least not in the official DreamOS image. So I can’t add the picons into the resulting XML.
I would recommend to create a special Bouqet for the Plex and start with few channels and see where the names and numbers get lost.
I get the channel list from the HRtunerProxy, there is unfortunately no information about picons at least not in my case. It might be because I don’t use them, but it could also be because HRtunerProxy don’t need to work with them.
You can download the lineup.json and check what it looks like in your case.
Just adjust the URL, instead dm7080 put your box hostname or IP or you can check the folder where you have my script and look on the file self.
I guess I see now what you mean, I have recently received an update of the Plex app on my Android and I can’t see the Channel names anymore.
I am not sure what is going on and if we can fix it.
It might be a bug, but It also might be some planned change of the API.
I have also a pending update on my server, I will try to update it and we will see.
EDIT: I have just updated the server to the latest 1.18.0.1944 version and on PC I can still see the number and name of the channels, but on my Android I can’t see any of it. I guess there is a bug in the mobile app.
Hello,
since some days my VU+ zero does not work anymore with Plex.
It started with missing some channels. --> Now, Plex does not find the VU+ zero at all.
Trying to add the box manually with its IP http://192.168.178.44:6083 gives the message: “Error occured while adding”
The auto search does not find anything at all.
hmmm ok. I had the same issue yesterday.
The device was visible, but there was not button to edit the channels. Like in your screenshot.
Today plex doesn’t find the box at all.
I personally gave up on this and switched to xteve. HRTunerProxy is not actively developed anymore and does not reliably work.
You can simply export your bouquets as m3u8 playlists via OpenWebIF of your e2 stb and import these playlists into xteve, which you run on any device that you have lying around at home (NAS, pi, server etc.).
Strong statement, I won’t help you in the future then. What I tried to do is give you an alternative that reliably streams the channels from your e2 box. Sorry about that, I am out.
