If i open the extension menu on enigma, i get the error "SystemPlugins/PlexDVRAPI (cannot import name getBoxType)

Sorry, I had done software update from menu and opkg update when it said that, but after I did opkg upgrade it now only lists enigma2 on dependencies.

that can hours, depending on how many channels and speed of PMS.

i have 2 more problems.
first, in the setup there is a message that the VDR is not found, but is online and i have live tv on iOS.
second, there is no write access to the destination.
Is it a problem of the plugin?

1st is known bug, I think it is just cosmetic, plex some times, forgets about the device, but should still be working,
2nd make sure the user plex has privileges to the share/folder of your library.
Seems to work out of the box now. Thanks! However the channel selection to the EPG provider is a pain in the but. How do I change that? Suppose I misclicked during the setup and want to change the EPG channel for the enigma channel… How without having to completely kill the DVR and reinstall?

Settings → Server → DVR (Beta) → Click “YY enabled” in “XX channels - YY enabled”
If it says it’s “Device not found”, restart PMS and “XX channels - YY enabled” should show up.

Is there a way to get a xmltv file which works with PlexDVR from the enigma2 webif?
why would you need?, just use plex’s EPG data.
We can argue whether or not to use enigmas data… But for Germany it was a pain in the butt to match the channels to the Telekom driven EPGs. A lot of guesswork and some channels simply to not seam to exist in the Telekom EPG data…
