I have been a happy Plex user since its early days, but not at all happy about the decision to drop the EPG support and how poorly this is being communicated with no reasonable solutions for the countries no longer supported.
Has anyone found a good working alternative solution for the Netherlands?
Why can’t the EPG data be taken from the TV signal itself?
Have you looked into any of the providers listed at http://wiki.xmltv.org/index.php/Europe I do see that they have a listing for The Netherlands.
Yes, thanks, I checked the link. It mentions the Netherlands but there’s only one TV channel supported.
The quality of this epg is reasonable, it is lacking season/episode information.
Could create your own data using EPG Collector?
I’m also from The Netherlands and im testing WebGrabPlus (http://webgrabplus.com) right now (to create the XMLTV file), looks promising with tvgids.tv as source.
Quality of other XMLTV files I’ve found so far is very bad or only support limited channels.
