EPG channel sorting

Dear all,

I was not able to find this topic or a feedback of future implementation.
Currently the sorting of the EPG is based on the tuner channel numbers.
Those number cannot be changed. The best way for me would be, to have the channels sorted by the channel name.

Is there a way to change the channel numbers?
Or to sort the EPG by channel name?

TVMosaic (unfortunately down) was offering both.
Is this planned to be implemented?
