So since Plex seems to look at channel ID EPG and decide to use that as sorting order. (I tested it and found out it does)
As an example here. only showing portion of epg xml file, but the fun fact is that some numbers shows at top 1,01,001,2 while 3,4,7 is at the bottom… WHY?, ignore the others numbers not being seen, like 5,7,8,9 and so on, those are radio channels, plex does not show em.

It is a mess for us that actually gets EPG automatic from our own provider via doing EIT scans or just by lets say xmltv.se
Plex law is the order is permanent decider from low to high, thats it, no other way around it…
As an example, when i scan for EIT epg on my very own provide to grab all EPG content, it will give me these as channel ID(which I cannot change) and will be in that order plex decides to give it.

Suggestions and requests
Please give us custom channel numbers we can add to sort our own way.
Please give us possibility to drag’n’drop channels up and down depending on the order we would like, with lock options after doing so.
Please allow us to map the very same channel with cloned EPG, why you say?
An example
Today there’s a lot of news about corona virus.
In Denmark, we have TV regions, where we have up to 9 channels with same content until there’s 1news,6news,22news, there will be different of news at those clocks at those specific channels, so if I am in the citiy aarhus() Denmark, and I would like to see news from Copenhagen(Denmark) I cannot since its not allowed allowed to duplicate channel mapping via plex!
