EPG fails to update at various level of % on PMS on Synology DS918+

Server Version#: 1.13.9.5456
Player Version#: Apple TV 1.33 (10327)

Plex Media Server Logs_2018-11-09_10-21-07.zip (736.0 KB)

I have seen others threads on that subject but no one came up with a definite solution it seems.
I have tried:

  1. Re-start PMS on Synology
  2. Removed DVR and re-install
  3. Refreshes of guide
  4. Limiting # of channels

I’m thinking of removing plex all together on my Synology and re-installing it and the DVR as well but before I do that, I thought I’d ask for help and show my logs in case somebody can see something obvious.

Thanks

Hang tight. At this point it’s not Plex. All indications point to the EPG provider.

Thanks for the quick feedback!
Nice to know I’m not going crazy
I’ll wait it out.

There was an issue giving rise to JSON Parse Error where the response for the guide refresh contained error 403 Forbidden. This should be fixed now.

Additionally Plex Media Server beta 1.14.0.5465 has retries for failed requests to fetch the guide - so that in itself would have helped whilst the issue was there

Please do manual update to the guide and once that completes ok, then incremental updates would ensure the guide remains up to date

If problems persist, please provide fresh logs from the server with debug logging enabled beforehand and also a zip of the Diagnostics directory which is within the Plex Media Server data area
