I want to delete my tuner which in turn deletes the scheduled recordings.
Some of these aren’t currently on the EPF as they’re not airing and I don’t want to miss any that come up in the future.
So, on the shield, where do I find the individual file that I can then put back to restore scheduled shows?
Hopefully that makes sense and it isn’t included in the whole database backup as I don’t want to restore other items included in a database backup.
Deleting your DVR (tuner) does not delete your scheduled recordings. They won’t show after you delete a tuner since there is no “Live TV & DVR” section to view. However, as soon as you add your DVR back, your scheduled recordings will be shown again.
Note: This doesn’t mean that recordings will work if you change your guide location/source. But your existing scheduling priorities will still be present.
