EyeTV allows to create EPG Smart Lists. To take the example of jester_tenet with “Nixon”: I can define, that all broadcasts, which have the keyword “Nixon” in their titles or descriptions are automatically recorded. Of course this works with more than one keyword, which can be connected with Boolean operators.
In EyeTV it goes even further: One can not only search in titles and descriptions, but in any tag. Meaning you can define, that the type of broadcast has to be of type “Movie” or Documentary, length must be longer than 90 minutes, etc.
I am really missing that feature in Plex.
Now that sounds really cool.
