EPG won't download - "ERROR - downloadContainer: expected MediaContainer element, found html"

I am having trouble downloading EPG data - it starts and then immediately terminates. In my LOG file, I am seeing a lot of these:

I have tried restarting Plex, but to no avail.

Can anybody shed some light on this? My EPG only have data until tomorrow, so I need it badly

I don’t know it it has any bearing, but if I try to load
http://127.0.0.1:32400/tv.plex.providers.epg.onconnect:2/metadata/com.gracenote.tms%3A%2F%2Fmovie%2FMV007216070000
(after having changed 127.0.0.1 to my server’s IP)
in a browser, I am getting a “400 Bad Request” error.

I have now tried to restart my server (Synology NAS 1817+) and the result is the same error message. I have saved a log of the complete startup sequence in case it helps…

Really? No one has any info on this???

Same here. Same error in the log as @HeartWare42

I also can see this error:

May 07, 2018 18:09:35.321 [0x700009be6000] ERROR - EPG: JSON parse error. Wrote JSON data to /Users/USERNAME/Library/Application Support/Plex Media Server/Diagnostics/EPG-onconnect-f058ba9d-97fb-449c-b405-c422122c9494.json

Is there an official place where one can register/report a bug in Plex?

Come on! This error makes the DVR completely unusable. How about a little support here???

It’s been a week now without ANY response from a Plex staff member. Really?

get used to it…

Fixed it by readding my DVR device.

That’s also what I had planned to do this weekend as a penultimate resort (the last resort would be a complete re-installation of Plex).

It seems like a re-adding of the DVR device fixed it. But why didn’t any Plex employee come out and suggest this a week ago? That’s simply not good customer service, IMO.
