EPG Won't Download

Just purchased an HDHomeRun Quattro and am adding into my setup.

I go to “Setup Plex DVR”. Plex immediately sees and lists my HDHR. Hit Continue. It lists 22 channels found via Antenna & US. Hit Continue again. Enter my zip code (74055) and hit Continue. And I get to the screen saying “We’re finding the best program guide for your channels and location. This should only take a few moments.” I’ve left it on this screen for up to 4 hours (I’m about to leave it overnight) and it has never progressed past 0%. I’ve checked my firewall logs, and nothing from my Plex’s IP appears to have been blocked.

My home network is double-NAT’d, so I frequently am unable to provide remote access to Plex, but that shouldn’t impact outbound communication from Plex.

Are there any known issues with downloading the EPG? (I found some old threads, but they appear to be just that - Old.) Are there any special ports that are required to download the EPG, or is it just HTTP/HTTPS? Is this an excessively slow process? Any troubleshooting tips/tricks anyone can offer?

I really need this to succeed. My wife is finally letting me look at ‘cutting the cable’, but I need this to work to convince her it’s reasonable.

Allowed it to run overnight. Still at 0%. Any advice?

Anyone? Please?

Turned on verbose logging. This looks to be the relevant section, but I’m not seeing anything that I recognize as problematic. Any help?

UPDATED: Found the end of the relevant section. There’s nothing further about EPG in the log after it reaches 100%. But the display never advances past 0%.

Okay - I found my own solution, and this would appear to indicate a bug.

Solution: Instead of browsing to my Plex server (http://plex.foo.bar:32400/manage/index.html) and going to Settings > Server > DVR & Live TV, I loaded the Windows app and went through the process from there. This seems to have worked and the EPG is now loading. What the difference between the ‘app’ and the web page are, I do not know. Hope this helps someone else in the future.
