Episode closes when skipping last commercial even though there may be 10 min left

Remote stream, I think (the PMS is on a PC on the same hardwire network as the Roku)
I’ve had this happen with both Direct Stream set to force and not at the roku.
Has happened on Multiple Roku Ultra’s most recently on one of my 4800X boxes.

I’ve recorded a lot of shows from cable with my Plex DVR. Frequently, when skipping the last commercial break, with either the Skip Ads button or manually with the right arrow on the Roku remote… when playback goes to start after the commercial, the stream closes and I am back at the episode selection screen. It will sometimes do it 2 or 3 times as I try and go back to watch the last few minutes of the show.

This has been happening for a while with normal and plex preview Roku app and multiple PMS server versions. I’ve seen similar posts which were all closed with no resolution. Hopefully I provided the logs needed to resolve this.

Still happens regularly. It sometimes takes me four or five attempts to watch the last 10 minutes of the TV show.
