Server Version#: 4.69.1
Player Version#: 8.23.2.28087
i am hoping for a command line to kill a direct play stream from a docker version of plex.
i have tried deleted the piece of media the player is stuck on and stopping / restarting the server. and it just reconnects.
once the player / episode goes beyond the end time of the ep, the stop playback option in activity or in Tautulli disappears and i don’t know of another way to kill it.
any tips would be appreciated to either kill it or prevent it from happening.
i have tried searching the forums and google and there isn’t much beyond the things i have already mentioned. or i am not finding it if it exists.

i setup kill_stream.py in Tautulli, and confirmed it is working by setting up auto killing of 4k transcoding. but when i tried to kill this arrant direct play i cannot. i think it is because it no longer has a sessionid. so how do i kill something that has no sessionid?

so the next thing i tried was removing permission from this user for that library for extended periods of time(note it requires a server restart, on the removal of permission). each time i have re-enabled permission to that library, the player comes back again. I messaged the user to start and stop a new episode / movie, but i can’t get a hold of the user for whatever reason. hence why i am trying to fix this from my side.
i would appreciate any suggestions anyone has, or i can collect any information if someone thinks that would be helpful.
