Episodes not being recorded, Device does not tune required channel

Is there some way to view the raw data from the guide provider?
I’d like to know why it records 4 out of 5 shows during some weeks.
Actually it seems like it always misses 1 show per week, random days.
It didn’t use to do this.

Also I found this in the PMS Log file.

I successfully record about half of my programs on this channel. The software is contradicting itself.

Yes, I know PMS is switching to Gracenotes, but after reading all the problems everyone has had and are having it scares me.

Updated to latest version but still won’t play live TV or record.

Thanks for the heads up. I will definitely stay with what I have and hope they get it worked out. I verified I was running the latest version.

Are you in the the US or somewhere else? The reason I ask is I was reading the announcement and the UK seemed to be hit be the update to Gracenotes.

I went exploring and uncovered some facts from the PMS logs.
What I found makes zero sense from any point of view.
I desperately need help understanding what is happening.

These lines were pulled from the logs., which are attached, I am not making this up. I did edit out complete lines of other programs to be recorded to make it easier to see the discrepancies.

  1. Notice that the shows being recorded are not in sequence.
  2. They skip even numbers.
  3. They reach backwards in time, probably why I am missing a recording.
  4. They skip four episodes sometimes.

Read about Gracenote and took the plunge. I am in the Western US, Oregon.
Switch to Gracenote
Looked at the log file and lo and behold they made sense.
Will see what happens in the next few day.
