EQ Settings

First of all: Plexamp is the greatest Musicplayerapp i know !!! I have a small request.

I use Plexamp with different Headphones and BT-Devices. It would be great, if the EQ Settings are simply to reach from the Playerscreen. At the Moment they are hidden in Settings / Playback / EQ Settings.

Also: Is there a possibility to integrate SoundID from Sonarworks (Android) ?

Would also really like easier access to the EQ for switching headphones.

I can totally see why easier access to EQ would be useful. I’m not sure if there’s an obvious place on the player screen to put it, things are a bit “full” already

What if we put it on the top bar of the player menu? Top right here. That would reduce the number of clicks by 50%, but it would require a tap to show EQ was enabled…

Yes, the player Screen is a little bit full. Maybe on the right side of the volume slider, but this could be a problem on small screens

I think, the player menu is a good option.

Or there ?

that’s where the new home icon goes.

It could just be “EQ” I mean for me it kind of goes like this. I plug in my headphones, and then I either go to my playlists, or recent played and click on that. I start playing something and then I go wait this sounds funny, and then go to eq or I go to eq first and check. But if it shows up right there than I can hit that button and/or it will remind me.

Or how bout on the home screen itself. like for example “Your EQ’s” Or “Your Headphones” Or “EQ’s for you”. and it can show a picture of an EQ you tap that and it will load your EQ? That might be a bit weird putting the EQ’s there as it puts them front and center. Just throwing out ideas.

Or maybe, insert the letter EQ just after the track timer start or end or somewhere along or near the waveform start or end. Shift or shrink the waveform to allow enough space for a button. Or maybe if you long hold the waveform it pulls up EQ? Kinda like how you tap or hold the album art and it brings up the visuallizations? Maybe just hold the waveform and it brings up your custom EQ Presets, or your most recent ones? But i could see how this extra function could maybe cause people to accidentally skip their track or slide forward or back in the track.
