ERRNO 10061

Currently running PMS .9.8.14 on winxp...Everything was working fine and then now this, see error message below.

I also cannot connect to the PMS using http://127.0.0.1:32400/web/index.html#!/dashboard.  Firefox just says it cannot load page and so does Safari.

I've turned off Firewall.  I've used the wiki instructions on how to remove pms completely and did a clean install.  Nothing has worked.

Willing to take any suggestions here.

Try turning off require authorisation in your PMS and see if that make a difference, if not I would suspect a firewall issue.

Also check you are signed into into MyPlex on both your PMS machines.

How can I do this? I can't access the PMS at all.

Shouldn’t you be using one of these?

Http://127.0.0.1:26563/web (loopback ip)
Http://10.0.0.15:26563/web (local ip)

Not 32400, since I know that is your actual port  i assume you were just giving an example :stuck_out_tongue: I know we have done a lot of testing, are you sure your plexconnect settings.cfg is not pointed at somewhere else?

I thought you only had one pms. From your logs I think the issue might be related to you router. I know you had upnp enabled on it, maybe by putting in a port forward to your pms host as well it is causing a conflict making plexconnect think you have two pms’s or something. i would delete the port forwards and just go upnp or only port forwarding, not both. Also can you access you machine outside of your lan with different programs running on different ports? If yes maybe this is why. Didn’t click in my head till I seen the two pms’s my bad.

Dude I tried those.  They don't work either :(.  Locally, 127.0.0.1:32400 still works regardless of whatever port it maps to.

I edited my post. Ill be back in 20, On my way 2 work.

Try disabling GDM and hard coding your PMS IP in settings.cfg.

If you can't access your PMS through its web page then it is not a PlexConnect issue.

After deleting those forwarded ports I would reset everything, as in pc, router, atv, modem, etc. See how it goes maybe you will get off easy

I had both running fine before simultaneously.  In fact I use my second PMS set up to test with you.  Never had an issue ever running both.  Regardless of having second PMS on or off, my main PMS setup (the one i can't access now), would work.  I deleted all the port fowards already.

So what are the ports your are using for the two pms’s? Can you use other programs to access the machine in question over the net?

For the secondary PMS (the test one), it's using 32400.  But I have no idea what the primary PMS is using because I can't access the settings.

How do I test your second question? I can use TeamViewer.  Does that count?

Ok, so teamviewer works on the machine the you cannot access pms on?

26563 is the one that you cannot access & 32400 is the one you can access I assume pms wise.

Nothing works still.  Any other ideas? @Baa?

Settings.cfg has a conf option:

port_pms = 32400

If you are using a non-std port that is probably the issue as the error you are getting is a refusal by the machine

He has two pms’s I just found out, I don’t know if that matters.

So apparently Wahlman thinks I had this problem:  https://forums.plexapp.com/index.php/topic/17557-media-server-stuck-on-starting/page-17

I dont know what the hell the problem was, but I did a system restore to last wednesday, then installed the .9.8.14 on top of whatever PMS i had already.

Then pasted back in the old plugins folder that I had.  Working again.

Thanks everyone who helped out! @wahlman.j <---(you still smell like used diapers) @f00bar

Which makes me think of something.  If i did the clean uninstall directions and clean install directions on the wiki and it didn't work, doesn't that mean they're really not "CLEAN"?  Something people might want to look at.

Well everything PlexConnect related is all self contained in the one folder (unless you gave changed the log location) so the issue must lie elsewhere or in your config.
