Error 10013 when launching PlexConnect.py

Hitting Error 10013 when running PlexConnect.py.

"WebServer : Failed to connect to port 80 (http): [Errno (sic) 10013] An attempt was made to access a socket in a way forbidden by its access permissions"

What am I missing here?  Hopefully something obvious and I just too tired to realize.

I'm running...

ATV2

firmware 5.2.1

DNS set in ATV: 192.168.10.25 (IP of machine running PlexConnect as per instructions)

DNS set in Settings.py of Plex machine: 192.168.10.1 (router)

PlexConnect is installed on Win8 x64 @ IP 192.168.10.25

PMS installed on same machine

Any ideas?  Thanks in advance.

Firewall? Some Webserver active on your Win machine?

Thanks. I'll check this out and report back.

Turns out it was the Windows Process Activation Service that was using port 80.  Not sure what it could have been installed with, as I don't do any web hosting from this machine, or if it was integrated with Win8.  Expression Web 4, maybe?  Works great now!

This link worked for me. In my case, it was Skype that was hogging port 80. Hoping this could help someone else down the line as a solution.

There are details about how to stop Skype trying to hog port 80 on the wiki (see port 80 error under FAQ).

That netstat command is pretty nifty!  Spiceworks turned out to be the culprit in my case.  Once I killed it, my port 80 problem went away. Thanks!
