Error Attempting To View Photos

I have created a Photos library that looks at a folder full of JPG files. Plex successfully scans the folder and identifies several files.

When I attempt to click on any photo in the library to view it, I get an error message that says “Playback Error: An error occurred loading items to play.”. I cannot view ANY photos in the library. This behavior is the same in the web client, in the iOS app, and on Roku.

I have ensured I’m running the latest version of Plex server, I have optimized my library, and have re-scanned and even re-created the Photos library.

What now?

Update, it’s working in iOS and Roku, but browser client still the same error. Attempted in latest versions of Firefox, Chrome, and Edge.

Same here… very frustrating.

We are looking into it but don’t have eta for fix. if any of you are willing to share you server logs with me it would be appreciated.
