Photos cant open on Plex server

I have really enjoyed Plex, I use it for everything from series, to movies, to music. I’ve had no issues till now. I created a new library for photos and in the library I have all sorts of different files for each occasion. all the photos thumbnails show up but when I try to open them 90% of them give me the error “Playback Error An error occurred loading items to play.” and I can’t open them. I can go back into the file I have them located in and they all open just fine, but the server can’t seem to open them. I can open some pictures on each of the tabs “recommended, timeline, and library” but if I can manage to open a picture of my dog on “timeline” it wont open on another tabs, it gives an error. each tab is like that there is no picture that will open on the other of the 2 tabs if it will open on 1.
