Error 28 & 208 can occur for many things. Please create the problem then Settings - Server - Help - Download Logs and attach the ZIP file it gives you. I will be able to see the sequence of events.

I can confirmed this solve this issues for me. sudo apt install vlc

No, it does not solve it (on CentOS Linux release 7.5.1804 (Core)). sudo yum install -y vlc Using another browser did (Firefox dev does not work, Chrome is fine).

Thank you for confirming. VLC and PMS use entirely different libraries.
