I constantly see this error in my logs and plex media server has been crashing randomly for me.
ERROR - [FFMPEG] - OpenEncodeSessionEx failed: out of memory (10)
ERROR - [FFMPEG] - No NVENC capable devices found
WARN - avcodec_open2 returned -542398533 for encoder ‘h264_nvenc’
I am running Windows 10 1703
I have a NVidia GTX 1080 with the latest drivers 390.65
I also have the latest version of Plex Server 1.11.0.4666
Any ideas?
I have had crashing randomly for months and it seems it all started after HW acceleration became available.
I waited for fixes but still happening all the time:

I have win10 1809, x79 3970x, 16gb ram, gtx 1060gb 6gb, ssd dedicated for transcoding.
Different drivers, updates has made no difference. Happens more often when many ppl are streaming though.
I would give anything to actually get a response from a Plex employee/engineer these days. Ridiculous
