Error issuing curl_easy_perform(handle): 28

Hi,

I have been having problems with my plex server recently with not streaming certain media.

After going through the logs i noticed there was a couple of error.

Errors are: Error issuing curl_easy_perform(handle): 28
Error parsing device schema

Logs attached.

Kind Regards,

If you’re seeing those SSDP / XML errors, it’s because the device at that IP is advertising itself and not doing it correctly. It’s common to see vendors add their own little twist.

Once such example is:

Apr 30, 2019 20:38:21.465 [0x7fc9d8ff1700] ERROR - SSDP: Error parsing device schema for http://10.10.10.121:49152/IPMIdevicedesc.xml

Also, for future reference, please leave VERBOSE logging off (but leave DEBUG on) until so requested. Verbose reduces your log capture to about 2 minutes of elapsed time and makes diagnosing much harder because it goes so deep into each message exchanged.

Hi,

Thank you for the response.

Would this cause streaming issues?

As some media my plex does not play and others it has no issues at all with.

Kind Regards,

Matt
