(5) Description of the issue:
A new Error Message has emerged on iPhone PLEX app, after many months of flawlessly playing media files via iOS mobile devices.
When navigating to a media file using the “ Folders ” view, (the view that I most often use), the following Error Message presents: “ Unable to Evaluate Play Request. This type of metadata is not supported for PMKMetadataPlayRequest Code: -1 ”
The Error Message appears only on the iOS PLEX apps (iPhone and iPad), and not on the Mac PLEX app; and not on playing through a browser.
Without ANY change in any of the metadata in the prior year, when the app functioned flawlessly, suddenly comes the new Error Message announcing that the same metadata is suddenly now “unsupported.”
I have enclosed 3 screenshots from the iPhone app, showing that the use of “Folders View” and showing the Error Message, after which there is no playing of any media files.
