Error Notification About Plex Mobile Application

In the Plex mobile application used in Turkey, I have experienced that the application gives an error when clicking on the “Cast & Crew” section. This has a negative impact on the user experience.

I would also like to point out that the same process works fine when connected from a different country via VPN. For this reason, I believe that the error is due to a region-based restriction or configuration specific to Turkey.

I kindly request that the relevant error be corrected as soon as possible so that users in Turkey can also receive service without any problems.

What error message do you get when clicking on the cast & crew section? Do you get the same error when accessing the section from a different Plex app?

I keep getting the same error message when I press the “Cast & Crew” button on my iPad Pro M4, iPad mini, iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 11. By the way, all versions of my mobile devices are up to date. However, I do not have this problem on my Apple TV and MacBook Pro devices.

I think the reason I don’t have this problem on Apple TV is because Plex hasn’t rolled out the new interface update for Apple TV yet. On mobile devices, I’ve been getting this error since Plex switched to the new interface.

Also, on my mobile devices, this error disappears when I select the location as America with a VPN. Therefore, I think that the problem is region-based.
