ERROR - Unable to find client profile for device; platform=webOS, platformVersion=

These errors occurred in hundreds along with film aborting every few seconds, and previous film bufferring.
Same film worked perfect via Chromecast

Hi Chris, I’m having exactly the same issue on two LG sets (an SK8500 and an OLED55B8). The errors come every 10 seconds throughout playback.

I raised it in this thread and a couple of moderators said they’d look into it.

FWIW, it doesn’t seem to affect playback, but using a generic client profile possibly isn’t the most efficient thing and it could be the root cause of some transcoding issues I’ve seen there users suffering from.

I see the same message in my logs for a 65"C8 LG, but it does not appear to be related to any performance issue in my case.
