Error: Unable to set up server: Failed to load certificate file

Just updated windows and I believe I have newest plex version. See below a log file of the error I’m getting. Trying to solve as fast as I can.

quit plex and all processes which have ‘Plex’ or ‘Python in their name’
(CTRL+Shift+Esc)

try to look at C:\PlexDB\Plex Media Server with the windows file explorer. If it tells you that you don’t have access to it, let it make the necessary ‘permissions’ changes.

deinstall Plex server (do not use Uninstaller software, just the regular Windows ‘Apps’ control panel)
download the latest Plex server version from here and install it

The file cacert.pem is missing in the resources folder.

Have you reinstalled like I recommended above?

Very weird, I uninstalled windows updates. Restarted, uninstalled plex. Restarted updated windows. Restarted and downloaded plex and installed and boom worked! Odd bug but fixed thanks @OttoKerner
