Error when showing movie library only in desktop app

Server Version#: 1.18.0.1944
Player Version#: Plex for Mac 1.3.1.916-1cb2c34d

Recently I moved all my library to a new NAS. As the moving was complicated I decided to create the library from zero, so I can say my database is more or less clean.

Trying to short my movie library in certain way that I can detect errors I got a message “There was an unexpected error”, that now it is shown when I open that library (the other work fine) with any computer app (web is fine). In my mobile, tablets or AppleTV the library is also fine and showing without issues.

I have checked the logs while opening the library and in “Plex Media Server.log” I have found this line indicating an error repeats every time I open this library with the Desktop Plex App but doesn’t appear when opening other libraries or when opening the problematic library with other device or client:

Oct 22, 2019 06:42:30.412 [0x7f21bb447700] ERROR - Unknown metadata type: folder

I tried to search any information about the error and how to solve it, but I couldn’t find anything that could give me a clue, so I hoe any of the members can give me an idea about how to solve this issue.

Thanks a lot in advance.

There is a bug on the app. You can try the preview release found in Plex for Windows and Plex for Mac forum preview releases or just wait for it to be released publicly.
