Hello, When i start the pms it just shows a box that says error with an okay button. I press the button and it goes away and does not start the application. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the pms with 4 different versions and have rolled back windows updates and nothing seems to work.Plex Media Server Logs_2020-10-10_23-13-13.zip (2.5 MB)

Are you sure those are the logs from the server where you experience this issue?
Those logs are from a docker install, not showing any errors.

That being said… the logs only show a timespan on Oct 10 from 22:54 to 23:10. For a regular debug log that’s a lot of scanning activities to fill 6 log files in just 15 minutes.

I mean I followed what it said on the webpage and i had just reinstalled the program again to the newest version. I clicked on the download logs button here it is again, not sure if there will be a differencePlex Media Server Databases_2020-10-10_23-47-56.zip (594.7 KB)

I actually just realized that i have a remote server, and the other one is not showing up since i cannot even start the program, the logs in the local app data are from april of this year but this issue started last month

Well… I suppose those local logs is what we’re after.
If you moved the server data files to a different location and your more recent logs are there. you can verify the “active” data directory in your Windows registry:

  1. Open the “regedit” application
  2. Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Plex, Inc.\Plex Media Server\
  3. Look for LocalAppDataPath

Finally got it to start, was wondering if everything was removed after uninstalling so looked up how to uninstall it all the way and it reccommended deleting the registry file and the app data, did that and reinstalled, seems to be working now.
