I’m needing some help as I am at a loss of what to do to fix this issue.
The only feedback I get when trying to start Plex Media Server, Is just a single popup that says ERROR.I have tried deleting plex media server from the AppData local folder.I have uninstalled and fresh installed plex.
Any help would be appreciated.
Could you share some more details on what exact version of Windows and what version of PMS you have installed on your system?
Are there any information written to the server logs of your setup (see description on how to derive those files from your file system in the linked support article; Plex Media Server.log might contain some helpful information if it exists).
Os: Windows 10 64x
PMS: 1.29.1.6276
I looked at the plex media server logs, but those are reading the date of 11/07/2019. Not sure how helpful that is?
Not very helpful. It basically says that your error happens before Plex actually gets to attempt to start up.
Any related errors in the Windows event logs?

If you uninstalled and deleted the appdata folder how do you still have logs from 2019?

An excellent question. But that’s what I see when I do a fresh install. Hence why I am quite confused.
I followed the Uninstaller guide to the dot, which was just running the Uninstaller exe.
I think https://support.plex.tv/articles/201941078-uninstall-plex-media-server/ gives better instructions than the first link.
Yep! That did it. Just deleting the regrestry key did it.
