Error while trying to play anything and tells me to restart app/media server

So the issue is definitely bigger than what they think then?
Maybe it’s twofold? Part app, part server?

Im pretty sure its client only. I mean i can still watch anything on my PC or TV, its just on a few devices. I own other devices on which it worked.

I’m receiving the same error
Google pixel C
player 8.0.1.17410
App version: 8.0.1.17410 (805584929)
Server 1.19.3.2793

I’ve tried various files and found that some will play. Annoyingly I cannot determine what the common factor is that causes them to fail

edit: i found that installing version 7.20.0.11992 of the android app resolves the problem
