ersatzTV failing - "Could not create the. playback session for this item"

So I’m trying to get ersatzTV to work with Plex (which is the ONLY reason I got Plex pass), and when try to play channels, I get the above error. Non-ersatz media plays fine, like if I play a movie or tv show. Any ideas where to start?

What is that? There is no official Plex feature named like that.

it’s a server that turns your media into TV channels. It works fine on jellyfin. But I want to get it working on Plex.

What makes you think that it possibly could work with Plex?

If this is a 3rd-party app, you should ask the author of that app.

because many other people have ti working. I don’t believe it’s ersatz that’s at fault as it works fine on jellyfin

I will add that it’s basically just a tv tuner. HDHomeRun. so there’s no reason why it shouldn’t work. the EPG works
