Ethernet connection to Orbi Satellite

I currently have my Plex Server on a Windows 11 desktop and, due to its location and no coaxial cable plates near the system, connected via Wi-fi supplied by Netgear Orbi (specifically to a nearby Orbi satellite unit).

I have port forwarding and remote access works without issues.

However, due to the Wi-fi and likely the age of the internal Wi-fi adapter, the network does not get full performance from my internet speeds. I tried to connect the desktop ethernet to the Orbi satellite unit and it increases the overall network speed by 1.5x more, but now remote access to Plex no longer works.

I suspect it is due to being a dual NAT (i.e. hard wire to the satellite, satellite connects wirelessly to the main router), or perhaps I misconfigured something, but wanted to see if anyone has a similar setup and was able to get it to work?

Due to no reply over some time I will close this.

I ended up spending time running cabling, and using cable covers to keep it clean/hidden, to get around the dual NAT (and get the preferred hardwired speeds :slight_smile: ).
