Every PMS update after 1.41.7.9823 crashes immediately after manual install, requiring an uninstall of the latest and reinstall of 1.41.7.9823. This has happened with 1.41.9.9834 and 1.41.9.9961.

Running DSM 7.2.2-72806 Update 3 on a DS920+ with 4GB RAM.

Check the size of the primary plex database file. If it’s a multitude of the size of its accompanying .blobs database file, you might be affcted by the ballooning database issue.
You will need to repair it prior to updating the Plex Server software version.

The .dbs are, indeed, many orders of magnitude greater than the .blobs. Will try your 2nd suggestion.

Otto, you’re a hero. At first I had a devil of a time editing ChuckPa-Deflate.sh to reflect the proper locations of the database & Plex SQLite, but once I did I ran the script and my db went from ~6GB to ~600MB. And I’m now able to update to the latest PMS. Many thanks!
