I have some users who want to exclude shows from thier view of the library, is that possible?
A user can use filters when viewing a Library. They can’t click-and-hide individual items from themselves.
A server admin has several options. One way is to create multiple Libraries and choose which to share.
But in most cases it makes sense to use Restrictions:
Content Ratings or Preset Restriction Profiles work well when applicable, such as allowing all ratings below PG-13, or excluding unrated and R.
Labels work well to hide arbitrary items. Label the items to block, and then Exclude that Label from the user.
For example, my sister hates Giraffes, so I’ve added the label Giraffes to every movie with those hideous long-necked creatures.
On the Plex Home or Manage Library Access profile for her user, I’ve set a Restriction to exclude the label Giraffes.
I do have to keep track of any additional media with Giraffes and be sure I add the label appropriately; she’ll be shown anything that isn’t labeled.
