I would like to expand my storage but adding another large drive and move some of my media there. I can add the dish and the media location.
My question though is if I move the media there would it lose the status and ratings?
See this thread. It is for Windows, but would also apply if you have separate volumes, shared folders, etc on a NAS.
If you are expanding existing storage with a new or larger drive, then review Synology’s documentation.
