Hi Guys,
I am really fed trying every single method you all spoke about in your forum maybe not everything but I’m sure i covered them all. I downloaded Plex Media Server For Windows Version 1.12.2.4929-29f6d1796. I currently have a Tp-Link Archer C9 with latest firmware my I.P. is set using address reservation and my Router has the feature UPnP in the “Forwarding” feature of the router. It automatically detects the Plex Server with internal & external ports and I.P addresses. However the external port changes everytime Plex Server Application is Closed and then reopened. Access for outside the is Red. The strangest thing is that It goes green and then goes back red I have disabled anyting that would block the connection like firewalls antiviruses and still the same problem last nut not least when Iink Plex on my Samsung Tv to the Plex Server it says server not found and I have setup everything as was discussed. Please tell me what I am doing wrong or please walk through all the necessary steps if I’m doing something wrong. Thank you. I know you are going to say check to see if I am Double NAT I have checked all that and I am not in Double NAT mode. Please get back to me as soon as possible

That is to be expected when you use UPnP.
Create the portforwarding manually. This ensures a stable external port number.

Keep in mind that the internal port number must be 32400
The external port number is flexible.
Once you did the forwarding in the router, you need to put the external port number (e.g. 54321) into your plex server configuration under
Settings - Server - Remote Access - ‘Manually specify public port’
(and tick the checkbox of course)
After you made that, wait a few minutes, then perform an accessibility check with http://canyouseeme.org/
use the same external port number there
If it says “Port is reachable”, you are all set.
Disregard, when the Plex Server still says that you are not reachable from the outside. Just let it sit for an hour or so. It’ll come around eventually, if the port acessibility check still turns out positive.
