External .srt detected but not displayed in Plex desktop v1.6.3.1009

Hi,

With the desktop Plex (on device MAC) version 1.6.3.1009-57cf57c8 ; I am unable to display external .srt.
I’ve checked in the Support topics and tried everything on file naming. All my srt are seen in the plex interface, i can select them. But when I play the movie, no subtitles are diplayed.

I re installed Plex Media Player v2.53 and it works fine without doing anything on the srt files. its detected and displayed perfectly.
But not with latest version available on the plex website…
Any lead on this one ?

Can you provide a screen shot of Plex player when you’ve selected the subtitle? Something like this:
