I have the same issue with a newly installed PMS as lenny86 had. Is there any other way to solve this issue instead of move the viewstate? (PMS on Win10, client is samsung tv).
The issue is come up if I download external .srt file (which is completely for the move/series - when it is not accessible at opensubtitles )
Do you have any workaround on this?

one more observation:
when the move has “burned” subtitles and copy one from external (with the same name xy.srt and xy.mkv) subtitles… has the network error occured error message. Keeping the burned subtitles and the external one it is working properly… but not so enjoyable with 2 subtitles

I reinstalled the libraries, deleted the external subtitles, then now it is ok!

Hi,

PMS Version 1.13.2.5154
External subtitles shovin up as ‘Turn off’ and dosn’t show. Local media assets is turn on for all media.
Any hints??

Same thing here. Subtitles does not show up.
I have 1.13.3.5223-cd1e0da1b on a synology and if I try to enable subtitles on any video the server stop responding and the player eventually give up.
I’ve try this in two different videos.
i don’t wnana dothat i have alot oflibrarys for shows movies boxsets etc man i really don’t wanna redo that plex just needs to get this fixed.
