When streaming to the web player, the subtitles stop displaying at random-ish intervals. Seeking forwards or backwards fixes the issue temporary.
I tried installing plex server on 2 different computers. x86 and arm. Via docker container and just directly. Both result in the same issue. It seems to only happen with mp4 files with external subs. Converting the media file to an mkv with ffmpeg allows the external subs to work correctly.
Which log file should I be inspecting for errors related to displaying subtitles? Any specific log level should be set? Or do I need to inspect the web developer tools, if so, where specifically?
