Extract playlists from old server?

Server Version#: 1.25.5.5492
Player Version#: 1.40.1.2823-6f60f3a7

So, first, I did not look at any of the posts (which I now find :face_with_raised_eyebrow:) about moving from one server to another. I installed the new server, copied all my media over, and changed my account to reference the new server – thinking the playlists would follow but, of course, they do not.

Given that, is there any means to still extract them on the old server and then insert them on the new server? Or am I stuck recreating them?

I did find the WebTool.bundle but have not been successful getting it to work on the old server (Windows 7 but running the latest Plex).

Before trying to extract and migrate the playlists from your old database through some SQL, it might be easier to actually re-do your migration (following the procedures to actually migrate your server instead of rebuilding it).

As for WebTools: I’m not sure, the old bundles will still be working with current releases of PMS. You can simply download the WebTools-NG app on your regular desktop, link it to your account and access the server from there (no need to install it on the same machine as your server). That being said… from what I’ve been reading, the newer versions appear to no longer support re-importing playlists (happy to be corrected).

Sadly can’t yet

App still in beta, and baby steps here

@tom80H Thank you. Going through Move an Install to Another System seems to have worked – I now have my playlists displayed. I’ve changed media content locations on the new server so it is still scanning those but things look successful.
