Extras Displayed as Single Row not Grid

I assume this is something that changed (relatively) recently, as YouTube tutorials have a different layout.

When I view an item in my library with extras (movies with BTS content, music videos etc.) they are displayed as a long running row, rather than an easily scrolled grid (and in the case of music videos, only present in the Artist level, rather than the albums that they’re in the folder of). This is true in both Plex Web and for Android.

Is this something that can be changed in a setting I can’t find? Or do I just have to scroll through everything each time? Alternatively, is this a PlexPass feature that I’m not immediately aware of?

It’s been like this for a long time. To be honest I can’t remember local extras to be displayed in a grid (ever).

Where solid you see this?

It used to be a grid, but that’s been literally years ago. You must have been using a deprecated client software for a very long time.

Thanks for confirming I’m not completely insane. I imagine what’s ended up happening is I’ve gotten confused when following youtube guides to try and get the videos to even be recognised, and then mis-attributing TV show layout to being universal across the system.

Conclusion - User being dumb (though it would be nice if it were to return to the grid format, or at least give an option)

Even though this is how it’s intended to be, I’d love to have extras in a grid instead. It gets kind of tedious having to scroll so much when you have a lot of extras. I wouldn’t mind the extras being on a separate screen either.
