Failed to create socket on UDP port 53: [Errno 48]

Hey guys!

 

First of all, thanks for all the great work you put into the project. It is because of you we can enjoy some seriously cool Apple TV - Plex experience on a non-jailbroken Apple TV 3!

 

I have a few problems to set up PlexConnect. For some reason, I get the Errno 48 message. I looked it up in the know issues list and apparently I am running another DNS Server. The thing is, I don't even know how to run a DNS server, so I have no idea where to look! I thought It might have something to do with TeamViewer or something, but it's not!

 

Do you guys have any idea where I need to look? PlexConnect is running on Windows 7.

Use netsat to find out what is using port 53.

Thanks for your answer Rock Star! It gives me *:* back as an answer though, very strange! It doesn't give me any information about what is using the port:s.

I ran the computer in safe mode and plexconnect didn't give the error. I booted the PC back into normal mode, installed "Uninstaller Pro" and tried disabled a few services that were disabled in Safe Mode as well. Apparently some services for Remote Configuration were running. I stopped them and everything is normal!
