Failing to claim server

Server Version#: 1.16.3.1402

I got a new server install, OS include. I’m running on a Raspberry PI 3+ and Ubuntu 18.04.3 LTS (GNU/Linux 4.15.0-1041-raspi2 aarch64).

I’m trying to claim the server and it fails. From the log it says its an HTTP Error code 500.

I know there are simler topics, but I can not find helpful info on fixing it. I really think this is a Plex Web site/server issue.

You have timeouts connecting to plex.tv

Check your dns and default gateway, and if okay, try and switch to google dns (8.8.8.8)

Thank you, it worked.
Fisrt tryed with my routers pointing to Google’s DNS, didn’t take, then I did it on the servers network setting, fixed it. Sad part is on a different one then I used in the first post as it had crashed and I was lazy. :stuck_out_tongue:

Most helpful then the other posts.
