Server Version#: 1.41.6.9685
Player Version#: 4.145.1
This has been going on for a while. There are 3 phantom entries listed under my server in the sidebar on Plex Web, 2 in non-web clients. These can not be removed.
The entries:
- Home - with a question mark icon in a circle
- Movies - An empty “Movies” Library (I have a real one with plenty of content). Icon is the same as any Movies library.
- TV Shows - Same as Movies, empty while I have a real one. Icon is the same as any TV library.
Behavior:
- Under the 3 dot menu for each, the only option is to Pin the item. (And if pinned, to unpin it.)
- “Home” can not be clicked or interacted with
- “Movies” and “TV Shows”, when clicked, show an empty library. Nothing can be done within the library. The 3 dot menu next to the library name when selected still only allows to pin or unpin.
- The libraries show the “Manage Libraries” button.
- Manage Libraries section of server only shows the real libraries, not the phantom ones.
- Changing names of real libraries works and phantom libraries keep the old names, but they don’t go away.
- iOS Plex both of the phantom libraries are just called “Library”, but one has a movies icon and one has a TV icon.
I’d really like to remove all 3 useless entries under my server without affecting my actual library functionality (which is all operating as expected). Screenshots attached.
Sidebar on Plex Web:
Same view on Plex iOS
View upon clicking “Movies”
View under “Manage Libraries”, with only real libraries listed
