Will this ever get fixed? Can’t fast forward. Can’t resume. Get spinning wheel of death. Reinstall server, OS, Samsung TV app doesn’t help. So annoying
Please reproduce and provide server and client logs. This is not a known issue.
Edit - For a Samsung TV, there is an option to send logs to your server, so enable that, then reproduce the error, and then grab the server logs., which will include the info from your TV.
Logs attached. I played a file and attempted to fast forward. Should be the last activity in the logs files. Same thing happens when I skip intro or resume. Been happening for last few years.
Let me know if you need anything else. Would really like to get it fixed.
Did you enable the option to send logging to your server in the TV app? I don’t see any of that. Also what did you play? I don’t see any videos playing. I see it playing some theme songs.
Yep but it looks like when you restart the Plex app on Samsung TV that setting gets put back to default (off).
Anyway, I’ve re-enabled logging and performed the same action again. Tried to watch Qi. Intro starts and I click ‘Skip Intro’ which does nothing other than cause a spinning wheel to appear on screen.
Ok, found the error this time. I will pass this along to the team to review.
