as my plex server is getting more popular with my friends, I was wondering about fast user switching. I have a home group which consists of the members of my family who use plex inside our own home.
Next to that a couple of my friends also have access, but in general they share a device, is it possible to enable fast user switching for them aswell? Since you need to be in a home for that feature… Or is this impossible for people outside the home group?
Fast user switching is only available in ‘Plex Home’.
A user can only be member of one ‘Home’.

so basically I can only do it for the people at my house, but other families that share devices can’t do fast user switching? that is a missing feature imo…
Early 2021 clean-up: kind of implemented (they’ll need their own individual Plex accounts and their own Plex Home to allow fast user switching within that home while allowing you to share with both of them individually)
