Issue with the new guide when it comes to news programs. ABC World News Tonight and ABC Night line used to get actual episode numbers. Now they get a date for episode number. With ABC World News, the 2nd (replay) airing on the same day is new, and it has the next days date. How can a news show airing today be tomorrows news?
Similar issues here, except I have the opposite problem, DVR keeps thinking today’s new’s broadcasts are yesterdays so it doesn’t record them. I removed my tuners/DVR in settings and reset them up from scratch and still have the same issue.
same issue, but only for specific channels. For me, RetroTV used to contain season/episode numbers for each episode. after updating to the server version with the new guide, it is generic with the date in the title. other channels are fine. they have SxxExx in the guide data, where RetroTV simply has the airing date. I have the combined problems of the 2 prior posts: the show i am recording airs multiple times each day, and i already have recorded most of them previously. With the new guide it is recording episodes i already have, but does not record the 2nd airing any given day, which may be one i still need.
multiple guide refreshes, resetting of series recording, re-adding DVR… still persists.

Similar issue here except that I’m seeing incorrect episode numbers for a number of shows I watch. For Example, on Monday So You Think You can dance broadcast Episode 5 (Judges Auditions #5) but Plex recorded it as S1606 and pulled meta data for the next episode. This also happened with a few other series I record.
