Feature Request: Ability to place Specials season at end of listing

My aunt loves Plex. I set up whatever TV show she wants to watch on my server and she goes right in and starts watching from her house. It’s great. Unfortunately, she is elderly and doesn’t always understand that the first season that shows up isn’t the actual show, but the “Specials” season. Therefore she starts watching new shows and get all kinds of spoilers, things out of order, and behind the scenes stuff she’s not interested in. I’ve explained it to her but, you know, she forgets sometimes.

I would like a way to just place the Specials season at the end of the line instead of the beginning.

To clarify, I would like a way (maybe a toggle switch?) to put specials at the end of the season list, like this:

Or perhaps on a separate row underneath the seasons:

I really don’t understand why the Specials season is in the first position…

It would make sense to have it at the end.

I was just about to post about this very topic, and you’ve perfectly illustrated it above. I’d like for Plex to add either option, and I prefer 2nd pic. I’ve run into this scenario more than once already:

  • have a playlist with seasons hidden
  • stumble into series with a few dozen specials
  • scroll past just to start watching

At this point, I can (1) Edit the specific show to show seasons, (2) delete the specials, or (3) scroll past

I normally do 1 but sometimes 3 if I feel I may marathon. But that I even have to consider 2 sometimes I think is what is annoying. Right now, Specials feel awkwardly placed.

In the Stranger Things case, I actually resorted to creating a separate series just for the specials, which is just annoying.
