I’ve got a pretty crappy internet connection at home, and our upload speed is limited to 1mbps. This works great when I am listening to 320k MP3s or similar that are uploaded to my Plex server. However, flac doesn’t work as well. On the Android app, I can pick the quality of audio that I stream, and my server transcodes flac on the fly. But on the web app and desktop apps there is no such option. I would find it really helpful if something like this were introduced.
