The one thing I’ve been frustrated by with Plex is the inability to queue up shows or movies I want to watch. I have a ton of shows and movies on my server that I forget about. It would be great if I could add a show to the “On Deck” section to remind me that I want to watch it.
I’ve tried making a “To Watch” playlist, but because those playlists are buried in the UI, I always forget about them. Hell, why not make the entire UI editable? But I’d settle for just the “On Deck” part for now.
I use a work around to get what you want. I simply play a bit of each file I want to see in On Deck (1 to 1.5 minutes work fine) and that places the file “On Deck.”
It also places them in “Continue Watching” but I never use that hub at all so it getting cluttered does not matter for me.
I usually set up my On deck from the web interface and I just use the mouse to move that minute into the file.
I tried but since I use Plex on the Xbox, that “Continue Playing” section is always on top. Plex just needs an editable queue that is the focus of the UI.
